Chocolate Tofino
Tuesday, December 20th, 2011
Servoweb recently launched a brand new website for Chocolate Tofino, Tofino’s only and Vancouver Island’s best chocolatier!
In addition to owning and operating Chocolate Tofino, owner Cam Shaw also happens to be an exceptionally talented illustrator and designer. Having worked with him on a few other web projects in the past, when it came time to give his chocolate shop a new face on the web, we were the natural choice.
Using his artwork as a guide, we built a completely custom WordPress theme, integrating full ecommerce and newsletter management tools.
And an extra special thanks to Cam and Kim for sending a care package of their goods… Needless to say, they were very much appreciated and enjoyed =)

New website for Vision Critical’s CEM product
Wednesday, December 14th, 2011
Vision Critical, a leader in online market research software and services, recently released a new product called Customer Experience Management (CEM), which helps researchers gather customer opinions through a variety of interactive touchpoints, then compiles the data into a centralized source and distributes the results to the organization’s key stakeholders.
To assist with promoting this new product, we were called in to create a website specifically designed to help promote and showcase CEM’s top selling features. Taking their established brand guidelines we conceptualized, designed and built a WordPress driven website. The kicker here is the project took only five days, start to finish!
Take a look at cem.visioncritical.com to see the work in action, then get in touch to find out more about how we can lend a hand with your next web project!

With a beachfront location in Vernon on Kalamalka Lake, and a convenient location near the beaches of Okanagan Lake, Kalavida is
We’ve been working with Kevin O’Brien for a couple of years now, first helping with his original OKSUP.com site, which is a great resource site for stand up paddleboarding in the Okanagan. When it came time to build a site for their new retail venture, we were happy to hear that we were their first choice.
Kevin designed the site’s graphics and overall feel, and from there we developed a custom WordPress theme and infrastructure needed to put his pixels into motion on the web.
It’s been a great ride so far and we look forward to continuing our great working relationship!

KINETIX goes live
Tuesday, January 18th, 2011
This past Monday January 17th, a completely brand new identity and website was launched for KINETIX, an online coach based fitness and nutrition program.
Our role in the project involved integrating the brilliant design work created by Industrial Brand into a completely custom software system developed by Thirdi Software.
Through a meticulous process of slicing and dicing the imagery, semantic HTML and CSS coding, as well as a few dabs of browser specific Javascript, we produced a presentation that not only accurately reflects the intended design, but also performs exceptionally well in a whole host of browsers, including the much loathed Internet Explorer 6!
Though from the outset this appears to be a reasonably straightforward presentation, the most time consuming and detailed aspect of the project lies in the back end, where participants can update their stats in real time, watch a variety of instructional videos, track their progress through dynamic graphing, chat with their coaches and much much more.
This was one of the more ambitious projects we’ve ever been involved with, and couldn’t be more pleased with the end result!

North Shore Ski and Board’s got a new website
Saturday, October 9th, 2010
We’ve just finished up a complete website overhaul for North Shore Ski and Board, located on Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver.
Founded in 1978, North Shore Ski and Board has been providing the very best in gear, service and advice for action sports enthusiasts all over the Lower Mainland. Skiing, snowboarding, windsurfing, kiteboarding, stand up paddleboarding… Whatever floats your boat!
The project involved a fully custom interface design, site re-developement into a WordPress based Content Management System, and optimizing and expanding the site’s content, in an effort to help boost organic search traffic and increase user engagement with the site.
Results to date have been outstanding in the first couple of weeks… Traffic has increased 40% (and grows more each day), visitors are spending 65% more time on the site.
As more content is built into the site in the coming months, we’re expecting to see even stronger growth… Things are looking great!

New website for Brunette Industries
Monday, January 4th, 2010
We’re just in the process of wrapping the complete re-design and redevelopment of a website for Brunette Industries, a Vancouver forest machinery manufacturer and high capacity machine shop.
This is the second of three websites we’ve designed and built for Brunette Industries in recent years. We created Brunette’s original website three years ago, but the time had come for a change. The main reason for the redesign is they received some pretty solid sales leads from the original version of the site, and wanted to enhance and expand their web presence in an effort to take even greater advantage of these opportunities.
In addition to a complete re-design, the site has been integrated into a comprehensive Content Management System, and the code has been completely revamped for greater Search Engine Visibility. We’ll also be working on a strategic Marketing Campaign to grow site traffic even more!
We’ll also be launching another website for Brunette Industries’ subsidiary company, Anders Machinery, in the coming weeks as well.

The primary goal was to achieve the classic U.S.A. sporting feel, which I think we nailed succinctly!
